    I just joined on phpclasses website. I discovered your south bay user group while browsing the site. I’m new at php or should I say, I hack at it. Trying all day to get familiar with PHP PDO class, not doing to well. I hate to have to sit and read. BORING!

    BTW: I live right off of Union Ave, not far from Campbell Ave.

    I am trying to get a basic working knowledge of PHP. I am a rank beginner, although I did program in DBase 20 years ago so some of the terms are familiar to me. I live just southeast of Campbell (87 and 85). Hope you can offer some help.

    I tried to get a bay area PHP group together almost 3 years ago and had no luck getting people interested, so I’m happy to relinquish command and control of this kind of concept to a more motivated party. I have a new baby, so getting out of the house is kind of a challenge right now.
