attack of the kitchen
We’re almost halfway through our kitchen counter renovation… I gotta grout that side of the kitchen… tomorrow. Then, unexpectedly, the garbage disposal just died tonight. Water everywhere, lots of new smells upon cracking open the pipe connections. We’re having half the family over for xmas dinner in 3 days. Tomorrow’s going to be action-packed!

orlando
I was in Orlando for a sales conference recently.. I took 2 busses to get to a mall so I could buy a charger for my phone.. here are the notes I took about the surroundings:
- lots of off-kilter buildings
- lots of Mini / “Adventure” Golf
- lots of regular golf
- Lots of “World” stores: “Outdoor World” - “Bargain World” - “World’s largest gift store”
- “Supermarket of Shoes”
- lots of good busses, with a cool name for the transit system : “Lynx”
- lots of “$5.99 disney t-shirt” stores

ow, my ribs
Oh man , it’s been a good day to laugh for me.
Ze Frank points out what’s causing me the most pain in my ribs today… Songs to wear pants to.
Secondarily, American Idol’s really freakin’ funny tonight. We’ve caught it about 3 times. Just enough to know who the big players are, and how the show goes. They showed a bunch of the lowlights from this season, and then they had this exposé bit on Simon.
Anyway, I generally dislike the whole reality TV show genre, but occasionally there’s something that ends up being funny just because of the law of repetition.
