I got a look at the new thing they’re working on today. I’m… speechless. They’re consistently coming up with the greatest person-to-person handmade goods buying and selling experiences. This new thing truly is above and beyond their tools to date. Jared is a freakin’ genius.

Sadly, what’s a genius worth if the severity of problems outweigh the coolness of his ideas?
Under the current situation one really wonders what’s more important to the guys – stuffing the site with more ingenius ideas and gadgets, or ironing out problems that have been around ever since 2005. Obviously, the more flavour, the higher Etsy’s market value.

One enthusiastic geek may tell a hundred others; one frustrated buyer will tell thirty others. A hundred times amazement vs. thirty lost paying customers. Great deal, really.

So, what are the guys up to really?
