Macosx 10.4 tiger server – virtual hosts

Ooooh, see, now I’m smarter than I was. The server documentation doesn’t explicitly connect the dots by telling you that you have to turn on DNS in order for apache virtual hosting to work. Create a DNS record for each of your domains in the DNS control panel in server admin. Then go back to the web controls -> sites and set the root folder for each domain/site.

Ahhhhh, that was a real head scratcher for a while for me.
