Using a laser pointer for hollow turnings

So I’m starting to realize there’s this whole other world out there for woodworking in woodturning. All those years of ceramics, hopefully going to direct use for this new venture. :) check it out, by sticking a stop/shaft collar on a laser pointer’s “on” button, and mounting it to a hollow turning gouge, you can tell where the tip of your tool is by beaming it onto the surface… this is reallllly cool.
